Mark Bristow is the president and chief executive of Barrick Gold Corporation (NYSE:GOLD) (TSX:ABX). Formerly, he was chief executive of Randgold Resources, the company he built from a small Africa-focused exploration business into one of the industry’s most profitable and best managed gold miners.

In January 2019, the two companies merged. Bristow restructured and restrategised Barrick, and within months he was the prime mover in the combination of the Nevada assets of Barrick and Newmont, creating the world’s single largest gold mining complex, Nevada Gold Mines, majority-owned and operated by Barrick.

With his proven record of creating and delivering significant value to stakeholders, Bristow leads an organisation with mines and projects in 13 countries. Its portfolio is focused on long-life, high-margin gold and copper assets and contains six of the world’s Tier One gold mines: Carlin, Cortez and Turquoise Ridge in Nevada, Loulo-Gounkoto in Mali, Kibali in the DRC and Pueblo Viejo in the Dominican Republic.

Rob McEwen

Rob is the Chairman and Chief Owner of McEwen Mining, which has four producing mines located in Nevada, Ontario, Mexico and Argentina. Rob has been associated with the gold industry all his career, his first 18 years in the investment industry and since 1990 as CEO of several gold mining companies.

Rob is the founder of Goldcorp, where he took the company from a market capitalization of $50 million to over $8 billion. At McEwen Mining (MUX) he owns 18% of the company and takes a salary of $1/ year. The cost of his investment in MUX and McEwen Copper exceeds US$200 Million.

Rob and his wife, Cheryl, have donated over $60 million to encourage excellence and innovation in healthcare and education.

Rob was awarded the Order of Canada in 2007, the Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee Award in 2013, Inducted into the Mining Hall of Fame in 2017 and has Honourary Doctorate of Law Degrees from York University and Western University.

He is also a member of the Dean’s Advisory Board, Schulich School of Business; X Prize Foundation: Vision Circle and Board of Trustees; a member of CEO (Chief Executive Organization) and of WPO (World Presidents’ Organization) and serves on the Advisory Board of the McEwen School of Architecture.

Candace MacGibbon

Ms. MacGibbon is a CPA, CA with over 25 years of experience in the mining sector and capital markets. She was formerly the CEO of INV Metals Inc., a Canadian mineral resource company focused on the development and exploration of the Loma Larga gold property in Ecuador, which was acquired by Dundee Precious Metals Inc., in July 2021. Ms. MacGibbon has significant technical, government relations, communications and Environmental, Social and Governance (“ESG”) experience. Ms. MacGibbon has a deep understanding of the capital markets, including her previous employment as a global mining institutional salesperson with RBC Capital Markets and in base metals research as a mining associate with BMO Capital Markets. Ms. MacGibbon is a Chartered Professional Accountant and her financial and accounting experience includes her previous role as CFO of INV Metals Inc., as well as her prior employment with Deloitte LLP. Ms. MacGibbon is also a former director of INV Metals Inc., Cobalt 27 Capital Corp., and Nickel 28 Capital Corp. She is currently a Director of Osisko Gold Royalties (TSX:OR) and is to be appointed to the board of Directors of Carbon Streaming Corporation in November 2021.

George Ogilvie

George Ogilvie, has over 30 years of management, operating and technical experience in the mining industry. Mr. Ogilvie was until most recently the President & CEO of Battle North, a position he was appointed to, in 2016 whilst the company was under financial insolvency & restructuring proceedings. During his 5 year tenure at Battle North, Mr. Ogilvie and his team successfully completed a turnaround of the company resulting in an increase in the resource base from 400 k ounces Au to approximately 1.3 million oz Au, completion of a positive bulk mining reconciliation program resulting in de-risking of the project, delivery of a preliminary economic assessment and follow on feasibility study in relation to the project with a post-tax IRR of 50% and completion debt and equity financing of over C$100m associated with project construction. Battle North was acquired by Evolution Mining Limited in May 2021 at a 45% premium to the prevailing spot price. Prior to this, Mr. Ogilvie was the CEO of Kirkland Lake Gold Inc. where he and his team implemented a turnaround strategy which included, amongst other items, improving operations at the Macassa Mine and the acquisition of St. Andrew Goldfields, resulting in significant returns for shareholders. Previously, Mr. Ogilvie was the CEO of Rambler Metals and Mining PLC, where he and his team guided the evolution of the company from grassroots exploration to a profitable junior producer. Mr. Ogilvie began his mining career in 1989 with AngloGold in South Africa and he subsequently held other roles at the Ruttan Mine in Northern Manitoba for HudBay Minerals Inc., the McCreedy West Mine and also as Area Manager for Dynatec Corporation. Currently, Mr. Ogilvie also serves on the board of Rupert Resources Ltd. Mr. Ogilvie received his B.Sc. (Hons.) in Mining and Petroleum Engineering from Strathclyde University in Glasgow, Scotland. He is a Professional Engineer and also holds his Mine Managers Certificate (South Africa)

George Salamis

Mr. Salamis has over 30 years of experience in the mining and resource exploration industry. Mr. Salamis has been involved in over $2 billion of M&A transactions, either through assets sales or his involvement with junior mining companies. Mr. Salamis was most recently Executive Chairman of Integra Gold Corp. which was sold to Eldorado Gold Corporation for C$590 million. Mr. Salamis co-led the efforts behind the 2016 Integra Gold Rush Challenge and the 2017 #DisruptMining initiatives that encouraged innovation and technology disruption in the mining industry. Mr. Salamis is a sought after speaker on mining innovation. Mr. Salamis holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology from University of Montreal — École Polytechnique and has had a successful career in mining and exploration. Mr. Salamis has discovered, financed, built, managed or sold more than 5 major minerals deposits around the World. He began his career working for two major mining companies (Placer Dome and Cameco Corp) over a 12-year period before transitioning into mineral exploration and junior mining in 2001. Mr. Salamis is currently a director at Contact Gold Corp. and Newcore Gold Ltd.

Anthony Milewski
Anthony Milewski is the Chairman of Nickel 28 Capital Corp. He has spent his career in various aspects of the mining industry, including as a company director, advisor, founder and investor. In particular, he has been active in commodities related to decarbonization and energy transition, including nickel, cobalt, copper and carbon credits. Anthony has served on the London Metals Exchange Cobalt Committee, which includes representatives from the largest mining and commodities companies globally. Anthony Milewski previously worked at Renaissance Capital and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in Moscow, where he focused on advisory and transactional work in metals & mining and oil & gas sectors. He has lived and worked in Africa and Russia, including a year as a Fulbright scholar, and has spent considerable time in Central Asia. Mr. Milewski holds a B.A. in Russian history from Brigham Young University, an M.A. in Russian and Central Asian Studies from the University of Washington, and a J.D. from the University of Washington.

Trent brings more than 20 years of international business and operational experience. His mining career includes mine permitting, development and operations with Barrick Gold, Sherritt International, North American Palladium and AuRico Gold. Trent’s commercial experience includes M&A, joint ventures, offtake contracts and over $2.6 billion in equity and debt financings. He was also CEO of Falco Resources, owner of the Horne project which has mineral reserves of over 6 million gold equivalent ounces. As President and Head of Mining of PearTree Securities, Trent created a mining team and led the firm to become the largest provider of flow-through capital in Canada, placing more than $300 million in capital in their first year.

Pierre Gratton

Pierre Gratton was appointed President and CEO of the Mining Association of Canada (MAC) on June 1, 2011. Based in Ottawa, MAC is the national organization for the Canadian mining industry. Its members are engaged in mineral exploration, mining, smelting, refining and semi-fabrication. Prior to his appointment to MAC, Pierre was President and CEO of the Mining Association of British Columbia (MABC). From 1999-2008, Mr. Gratton served as Vice President, Sustainable Development and Public Affairs for the Mining Association of Canada (MAC). In this capacity, he was instrumental in the development of Towards Sustainable Mining, MAC’s flagship program that is gaining international recognition and adoption. In 2005-06, Mr. Gratton was honoured as a Distinguished Lecturer for the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM). Mr. Gratton is First Vice-President of the Interamerican Mining Society (SIM – Sociedad Interamericana de Mineria), Chair of the Canadian Mining Hall of Fame and the Co-chair of the Green Mining Initiative Advisory Committee. He also serves as a Trustee of the Arctic Inspiration Prize and on the Board of Ottawa’s Thirteen Strings Chamber Orchestra. Mr. Gratton holds an M.A. degree in political science, a B.A. from McGill University, and a third-degree black belt.

Dr. Erin R. Bobicki is an Associate Professor of mineral processing in the department of Chemical and Materials Engineering at the University of Alberta. Professor Bobicki’s research interests include microwave applications in mineral processing, comminution, bioreagent development, the rheology of complex mineral slurries, and value recovery from waste materials. She has worked as a researcher and plant metallurgist for Vale, as a Process Technology Development Engineer for Intel Corporation, and most recently was an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto. She is currently commercializing microwave technology for the mining industry with Sepro Mineral Systems, and is a Founding Director of Aurora Hydrogen, a start-up developing technology for emission-free hydrogen production.

Mr. Chalmers is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Energy Fuels, a position he has held since February 1, 2018. From July 1, 2017 to January 31, 2018, Mr. Chalmers was President and Chief Operating Officer of Energy Fuels, and from July 1, 2016 to July 1, 2017, he was Chief Operating Officer of the Corporation. From 2011 to 2015, Mr. Chalmers served as Executive General Manager of Production for Paladin Energy Ltd., a uranium producer with assets in Australia and Africa, including the Langer Heinrich and Kayelekera mines where, as head of operations, he oversaw sustained, significant increases in production while reducing operating costs. He also possesses extensive experience in in situ recovery (“ISR”) uranium production, including management of the Beverley Uranium Mine owned by General Atomics (Australia), and the Highland mine owned by Cameco Corporation (USA). Mr. Chalmers has also consulted to several of the largest players in the uranium supply sector, including BHP Billiton, Rio Tinto, and Marubeni, and until recently served as the Chair of the Australian Uranium Council, a position he held for 10 years. Mr. Chalmers is a registered professional engineer, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from the University of Arizona.

She is a Professional Geologist and senior mining executive with over 15 years of experience in various facets of the mineral exploration and mining industry. Having spent most of her career working in BC and Yukon, she is a passionate industry advocate for responsible mineral exploration. With a strong, inclusive and collaborative leadership style, Kendra provides AME with extensive, knowledge and experience in public geoscience, financial and capital markets, Indigenous engagement, as well as the social and regulatory landscapes that affect mineral exploration. Kendra’s leadership and advocacy helps to promote British Columbia as the top global jurisdiction for responsible and inclusive mineral exploration and development and as a major international hub for an industry that shares AME’s core values. Kendra graduated from the University of Victoria with BSc in Earth Sciences and Geography and the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University with an MBA. Kendra also holds a Certificate in Responsible Leadership from Queen’s University and a Certificate in Mining Law from York University. Dean Gehring was promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer in June 2019 after joining Newmont as Regional Senior Vice President, South America in June 2017. He brings over 25 years of global operational experience, having lived in Canada, Indonesia, Peru and the US.

Prior to joining Newmont, he spent 14 years with global miner Rio Tinto, in a variety of executive roles including President and Chief Executive Officer of Rio Tinto Minerals, Global Head of Safety and Security and General Manager of Resource Development for the Oyu Tolgoi mine in Mongolia.

Dean previously worked as Manager of Technical Services at Freeport’s Grasberg mine and held various operational and technical roles with BHP Billiton prior to working for Freeport. He earned his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Mining Engineering from the University of Idaho, and his Master’s of Science in Project Management from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland. Ken Hoffman is a Senior Expert for McKinsey’s Basic Materials Institute (BMI). He Co- leads the Firm’s EV Battery Material Research Group and has worked on over 50 EV value chain client projects. His team looks at the impact on raw materials due to the rapid development of advanced battery technologies. He has co-written articles on nickel in EV’s, and a cobalt and lithium paper. Prior to McKinsey, Ken was the global head of metals and mining research for Bloomberg Intelligence Prior to Bloomberg Mr Hoffman was a head of equity research, analyst, and portfolio manager in the commodity and industrial growth area.

He has held roles across the scope of the industry from business and project development, to operations and exploration. In recent times, Mike was the General Manager – Mining for WMC, and then later the Vice President – Mining for BHP Billiton at the world-class Olympic Dam Mine in South Australia. Mr. Smithson (M.Sc.) is an ore deposit geologist responsible for global exploration and discovery at Tier One Silver. Previously, Mr. Smithson worked as a global gold specialist for Newmont where he contributed to gold-ounce reserve expansions at the Ahafo, Yanacocha and Carlin districts, amongst others. More recently, Mr. Smithson led the technical success at the Barqueño gold-copper project in Jalisco, Mexico, which culminated in its purchase by Agnico Eagle Mines, for $205M. Mr. Tyler’s technical expertise, besides mineral exploration, includes mine operations management experience in both open pit and underground mining operations. For the past 14 years, Mr. Tyler has served in senior executive roles in TSX-V listed mineral exploration and development companies. Mr. Tyler has managed successful financings, property acquisitions, NI 43-101 Resource and PEA studies, and various mining agreements including First Nations, custom milling and concentrate off-take agreements. Under his leadership the Company was awarded “Developer of the Year” in 2008 by the Northwestern Ontario Prospectors and Developers Association and received a public award of recognition for best business practices by the Grand Chief of the First Nations within Treaty #3. Mr. Tyler has also held operational positions as Manager of Projects Evaluation North America for a TSX listed mid-tier gold producer as well as Operations Manager for two other TSX-listed junior gold development companies. Mr. Tyler is a Professional Geoscientist registered in both British Columbia and Ontario. He has worked within both junior and major mining and exploration environments.

Since leaving Vale, he has been consulting in the global mining business and is a member of the Board of Directors of several mining companies, as well as Laurentian University of Sudbury, Canada. Mr. Jarvis has more than 30 years’ experience in exploration and development of mineral resources. After a career in financing exploration projects as a stockbroker, Mr. Jarvis moved to the corporate side of the business in 1996. He joined the Board of Ultra Petroleum, which at the time was a small oil and gas exploration and development company with a large, unconventional gas deposit. As Director responsible for Corporate Finance, he raised the equity capital necessary to prove the concept and to establish enough production to finance further growth with debt. Mr. Jarvis became CEO of Giga Metals Corporation’s predecessor company in January 2004. During his tenure, the company has drilled off a giant nickel/cobalt deposit, worked out a reliable metallurgical circuit, and published a Preliminary Economic Assessment.

In 2000 he left Montreal for Toronto to join Northland Power, a wind power energy corporation, as Vice President of Acquisitions.

As CEO of Monarch Gold he successfully turned a 2M market cap company into a 200M transaction with Yamana in less than 8yrs. Felix Lee is an economic geologist with over 30 years in the mineral exploration industry and is the President and CEO of Willeson Metals Corp., a junior explorer with gold properties in the Lynn Lake area of northern Manitoba. Most recently he was also the President of the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) and served on the on the association’s Board of Directors for 14 years as well as its Executive, Governance & Nominating, Human Resources Development, Membership, and Awards committees. Prior to joining Willeson Metals, Felix was a Director and Principal Consultant with CSA Global Canada from 2016-2020 and President and owner of the Toronto-based mining and geological consultancy, A.C.A. Howe International Limited from 2003-2016.

Felix is a registered Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo.) in the province of Ontario. He received his B.Sc. in Geology from McMaster University in 1986 and earned the Kellogg-Schulich MBA in 2005.

Mr. Magnan was former Technical Manager of Nemaska Lithium Inc. from the early development stage of 2012 to the construction stage of the 1.2B$ project until the beginning of 2020. Prior to that, he held several positions within the industry such as R&D Advisor, R&D Project Manager, Consultant and Quality control metallurgist. He also acted as a promoter and Project Manager for Phostech Lithium Inc. at the early stage. Phostech Lithium now became today the Johnson Matthey Battery Material Lithium Ferrous Phosphate (LFP) plant in Québec, Canada. Mr. Magnan is the owner of many patents in the lithium rechargeable batteries field. He holds a master’s Degree in Materials Engineering from Laval University (2000). Until now, he has participated in the development and marketing of several new technologies during his career. He is co-author of patents from the University of Montreal, Hydro-Québec and the CNRS on lithium iron phosphate Cathode Active Material (CAM). These patents have been sublicensed worldwide by LiFePO4 + C Licensing AG in 2011. LiFePO4+C Licensing represents the patent owners for this technology: Hydro-Québec (Montréal); Université de Montréal; and Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS, Paris). After he left Nemaska Lithium, he immediately joined NORAM in March of 2020 to pursue the optimization of the NorScand membrane electrolysis technology and commercialization to other applications related to the circular economy of the lithium-ion battery supply chain.

Mr. Mast is a member of l’Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec and has a Bachelors’ and Masters’ degree in metallurgical engineering from McGill University. Mr. Mast also received post-secondary business training at Henley College in the UK and at the Universidad Catolica in Chile.

Randal Sarrazin

Randal Sarrazin has extensive sulphuric acid and sulphur dioxide plant process and operating experience. He spent 18 years as a lead operator and 10 years as Plant Manger and Chief Power Engineer at a Sulphuric Acid and Sulphur Dioxide production plant in northern B.C., Canada. During this time, he was the Project Manager for the implementation of a CAD 15M plant equipment upgrade projects and managed an annual operating and maintenance budget of CAD 5M. He spent 8 years managing the technical specifications and maintenance for a fleet of 5,220 chemical tank cars during which time he was responsible for the chemical Emergency Response coordination and was certified as a Hazardous Materials Emergency Response Tank Car Specialist.

He joined NORAM Engineering and Constructors Ltd. in February 2020 as the Technical Sales and Operations Manager in the Sulphuric Acid Group, responsible for the sale and marketing of NORAM’s equipment and services including providing field services and inspections for operating plants.

He holds a Canadian Interprovincial 2nd Class Power Engineering Certificate, has a Project Management Professional designation (PMP) and is a NACE Level One Lining and Coating Inspector.

Mark’s expertise includes asset evaluation, benchmarking and optimisation, and encompasses, geology, mining, ore processing, and mining finance. Prior to co-founding Skarn, Mark led the metals & mining consulting business at SNL Financial.

His career started in 1987 as an exploration geologist with Anglo American Corporation in Southern Africa. He went on to work for junior diamond and gold explorers in West and East Africa. He subsequently spent 13 years at Brook Hunt & Associates Ltd (now Wood Mackenzie) where he held the position of Director with primary responsibility for bespoke consulting work. From 2009 Mark was Managing Director of GFMS Mine Economics Limited, a business co-founded with GFMS Limited, which was sold to Thomson Reuters in 2011.

Mark graduated from University of Liverpool with a B.Sc. (Hons) in Geology.

Luke Mahony

Prior to moving to Canada, Luke headed up the Planning and Engineering department for Vale’s Coal Business based in Mozambique for 5 years. Prior to working for Vale, he worked 10 years for BHP in various managerial roles covering technical, operational and financial positions.

Maarten van Koppen

Maarten van Koppen joined MacLean in May 2020 and is currently transitioning into VP, Product Management. Maarten brings 12 years of experience as a mining engineer in Canada. Maarten graduated with a Masters of Science in Resource Engineering from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands in 2008 and completed his MBA at the Edinburgh Business School with Specialism in Strategic Planning in 2019.

For the majority of Maarten’s career, he focussed on project development, with the most notable project being the all-electric Borden Mine Project in Northeastern Ontario. Maarten’s role was to oversee all engineering from scratch to prefeasibility study, and to compile the prefeasibility study and business case. After completion of that study Maarten continued to be involved in long term engineering challenges and in securing significant public funding for the project. Borden achieved commercial production on schedule and under budget in 2019. In Maarten’s new role at MacLean he oversees the product portfolio and product & technology development pipeline to continue to bring value to MacLean customers for years to come.

Brian Huff

Brian is the Vice President of Technology and Product Line for the BHEV (Battery and Hybrid Electric Vehicle) Business Unit, which is part of the Load and Haul Division of Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions. Brian has more than 27 years of experience working with battery electric vehicles. He holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California at Davis and worked as a researcher there for 9 years prior to co-founding Artisan Vehicles.  Artisan was a pioneer in the battery electric mining equipment industry and has had battery equipment with their technology operating in underground hard rock mines for over 10 years. Artisan was acquired by Sandvik in February of 2018 and has recently launched a pair of Sandvik branded battery powered mining machines, the LH518B, an 18 tonne LHD and the TH550B, a 50 tonne haultruck. Their other products include 4 and 10 tonne LHDs.

Dr. Erin R. Bobicki is an Associate Professor of mineral processing in the department of Chemical and Materials Engineering at the University of Alberta. Professor Bobicki’s research interests include microwave applications in mineral processing, comminution, bioreagent development, the rheology of complex mineral slurries, and value recovery from waste materials. She has worked as a researcher and plant metallurgist for Vale, as a Process Technology Development Engineer for Intel Corporation, and most recently was an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto. She is currently commercializing microwave technology for the mining industry with Sepro Mineral Systems, and is a Founding Director of Aurora Hydrogen, a start-up developing technology for emission-free hydrogen production.

Harold Jonker

She is teaching the course “Product Stewardship and Chemical Sustainability” at Harvard University and is also an adjunct professor in the Master of Science in Product Stewardship program at Indiana University, where she teaches a course in regulatory affairs. She was a founding board member of the Product Stewardship Society and served as President from 2017 – 2019.

Dr. Spencer also worked at IAMGOLD Corp. where his team discovered the Quimsacocha – Loma Larga deposit in Ecuador, containing resources of 3.3 million ounces of gold and 23 million ounces of silver. He later joined Crystallex International Corp. as VP-Exploration, working on the Las Cristinas gold deposit in Venezuela, where his team increased the gold reserves by 65% from 10.2 million to 16.8 million ounces.

Prior to joining Willeson Metals, Felix was a Director and Principal Consultant with CSA Global Canada from 2016-2020 and President and owner of the Toronto-based mining and geological consultancy, A.C.A. Howe International Limited from 2003-2016.

Felix is a registered Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo.) in the province of Ontario. He received his B.Sc. in Geology from McMaster University in 1986 and earned the Kellogg-Schulich MBA in 2005.

He also acted as a promoter and Project Manager for Phostech Lithium Inc. at the early stage. Phostech Lithium now became today the Johnson Matthey Battery Material Lithium Ferrous Phosphate (LFP) plant in Québec, Canada. Mr. Magnan is the owner of many patents in the lithium rechargeable batteries field. He holds a master’s Degree in Materials Engineering from Laval University (2000). Until now, he has participated in the development and marketing of several new technologies during his career. He is co-author of patents from the University of Montreal, Hydro-Québec and the CNRS on lithium iron phosphate Cathode Active Material (CAM). These patents have been sublicensed worldwide by LiFePO4 + C Licensing AG in 2011. LiFePO4+C Licensing represents the patent owners for this technology: Hydro-Québec (Montréal); Université de Montréal; and Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS, Paris). After he left Nemaska Lithium, he immediately joined NORAM in March of 2020 to pursue the optimization of the NorScand membrane electrolysis technology and commercialization to other applications related to the circular economy of the lithium-ion battery supply chain.

Randal Sarrazin has extensive sulphuric acid and sulphur dioxide plant process and operating experience. He spent 18 years as a lead operator and 10 years as Plant Manger and Chief Power Engineer at a Sulphuric Acid and Sulphur Dioxide production plant in northern B.C., Canada. During this time, he was the Project Manager for the implementation of a CAD 15M plant equipment upgrade projects and managed an annual operating and maintenance budget of CAD 5M. He spent 8 years managing the technical specifications and maintenance for a fleet of 5,220 chemical tank cars during which time he was responsible for the chemical Emergency Response coordination and was certified as a Hazardous Materials Emergency Response Tank Car Specialist.

He joined NORAM Engineering and Constructors Ltd. in February 2020 as the Technical Sales and Operations Manager in the Sulphuric Acid Group, responsible for the sale and marketing of NORAM’s equipment and services including providing field services and inspections for operating plants.

He holds a Canadian Interprovincial 2nd Class Power Engineering Certificate, has a Project Management Professional designation (PMP) and is a NACE Level One Lining and Coating Inspector.

Ken Hoffman is a Senior Expert for McKinsey’s Basic Materials Institute (BMI). He Co- leads the Firm’s EV Battery Material Research Group and has worked on over 50 EV value chain client projects. His team looks at the impact on raw materials due to the rapid development of advanced battery technologies. He has co-written articles on nickel in EV’s, and a cobalt and lithium paper. Prior to McKinsey, Ken was the global head of metals and mining research for Bloomberg Intelligence Prior to Bloomberg Mr Hoffman was a head of equity research, analyst, and portfolio manager in the commodity and industrial growth area.

Anthony has served on the London Metals Exchange Cobalt Committee, which includes representatives from the largest mining and commodities companies globally. Anthony Milewski previously worked at Renaissance Capital and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in Moscow, where he focused on advisory and transactional work in metals & mining and oil & gas sectors. Assay results for both programs are being released as received.

Mr. Jarvis has more than 30 years’ experience in exploration and development of mineral resources. After a career in financing exploration projects as a stockbroker, Mr. Jarvis moved to the corporate side of the business in 1996. He joined the Board of Ultra Petroleum, which at the time was a small oil and gas exploration and development company with a large, unconventional gas deposit. As Director responsible for Corporate Finance, he raised the equity capital necessary to prove the concept and to establish enough production to finance further growth with debt. Mr. Jarvis became CEO of Giga Metals Corporation’s predecessor company in January 2004. During his tenure, the company has drilled off a giant nickel/cobalt deposit, worked out a reliable metallurgical circuit, and published a Preliminary Economic Assessment.

Most recently he was also the President of the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) and served on the on the association’s Board of Directors for 14 years as well as its Executive, Governance & Nominating, Human Resources Development, Membership, and Awards committees. Prior to joining Willeson Metals, Felix was a Director and Principal Consultant with CSA Global Canada from 2016-2020 and President and owner of the Toronto-based mining and geological consultancy, A.C.A. Howe International Limited from 2003-2016.

Felix is a registered Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo.) in the province of Ontario. He received his B.Sc. in Geology from McMaster University in 1986 and earned the Kellogg-Schulich MBA in 2005.

Mr. Magnan was former Technical Manager of Nemaska Lithium Inc. from the early development stage of 2012 to the construction stage of the 1.2B$ project until the beginning of 2020. Prior to that, he held several positions within the industry such as R&D Advisor, R&D Project Manager, Consultant and Quality control metallurgist. He also acted as a promoter and Project Manager for Phostech Lithium Inc. at the early stage. Phostech Lithium now became today the Johnson Matthey Battery Material Lithium Ferrous Phosphate (LFP) plant in Québec, Canada. Mr. Magnan is the owner of many patents in the lithium rechargeable batteries field. He holds a master’s Degree in Materials Engineering from Laval University (2000). Until now, he has participated in the development and marketing of several new technologies during his career. He is co-author of patents from the University of Montreal, Hydro-Québec and the CNRS on lithium iron phosphate Cathode Active Material (CAM). These patents have been sublicensed worldwide by LiFePO4 + C Licensing AG in 2011. LiFePO4+C Licensing represents the patent owners for this technology: Hydro-Québec (Montréal); Université de Montréal; and Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS, Paris). After he left Nemaska Lithium, he immediately joined NORAM in March of 2020 to pursue the optimization of the NorScand membrane electrolysis technology and commercialization to other applications related to the circular economy of the lithium-ion battery supply chain.

He was the President and GM of Falconbridge Dominicana, an integrated 28,000 tpy nickel producer in the Dominican Republic.

Mr. Mast is a member of l’Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec and has a Bachelors’ and Masters’ degree in metallurgical engineering from McGill University. Mr. Mast also received post-secondary business training at Henley College in the UK and at the Universidad Catolica in Chile.

Randal Sarrazin

Randal Sarrazin has extensive sulphuric acid and sulphur dioxide plant process and operating experience. He spent 18 years as a lead operator and 10 years as Plant Manger and Chief Power Engineer at a Sulphuric Acid and Sulphur Dioxide production plant in northern B.C., Canada. During this time, he was the Project Manager for the implementation of a CAD 15M plant equipment upgrade projects and managed an annual operating and maintenance budget of CAD 5M. He spent 8 years managing the technical specifications and maintenance for a fleet of 5,220 chemical tank cars during which time he was responsible for the chemical Emergency Response coordination and was certified as a Hazardous Materials Emergency Response Tank Car Specialist.

He joined NORAM Engineering and Constructors Ltd. in February 2020 as the Technical Sales and Operations Manager in the Sulphuric Acid Group, responsible for the sale and marketing of NORAM’s equipment and services including providing field services and inspections for operating plants.

He holds a Canadian Interprovincial 2nd Class Power Engineering Certificate, has a Project Management Professional designation (PMP) and is a NACE Level One Lining and Coating Inspector.
