Mr. Boyd serves as the Chair of the Board of Agnico Eagle Mines Limited. Prior to this role, he was the Executive Chair of the Board from February 2022 until his retirement in December 2023, and Vice Chairman and Agnico Eagle's CEO from 1998 to 2022. Before his appointment as CEO, Mr. Boyd served as the Chief Financial Officer from 1990 to 1998 and Comptroller from 1985 to 1990.
During Mr. Boyd's tenure as CEO, Agnico Eagle grew from a small, single mine gold producer to a multi-mine international gold mining company. In December 2020, the Globe and Mail ROB Magazine recognized him as its Global Visionary of the Year CEO. He was recognized as The Northern Miner's Mining Person of the Year in 2007 and 2017, and appeared on the list of The Best-Performing CEOs in the World in the Harvard Business Review in 2010, 2016 and 2017. In 2019, Mr. Boyd was recognized by the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (CPA Ontario) as a Fellow, the highest honour bestowed upon a CPA within the accounting profession. In 2021, he received the degree Doctor of Laws honoris causa, from St. Francis Xavier University (Nova Scotia).
Mr. Boyd served on the Board of Directors of The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation (2013-2022). He has also served on the Boards of the World Gold Council and the St. Francis Xavier University Board of Governors.
Prior to joining Agnico Eagle in 1985, Mr. Boyd was an accountant with Clarkson Gordon (Ernst & Young). He is a Fellow Chartered Professional Accountant (FCPA, FCA) and a graduate of the University of Toronto (B.Comm.).
Paul Brink is President & Chief Executive Officer and a director of Franco-Nevada. Prior to his appointment as CEO, Mr. Brink served as President & Chief Operating Officer of Franco-Nevada from May 2018 to May 2020. He has been with Franco-Nevada since its initial public offering in 2007 and successfully led its business development activities as SVP, Business Development from 2008 until his promotion to President & Chief Operating Officer in 2018. Mr. Brink is active with a number of not-for-profit organizations. He previously had roles in corporate development at Newmont, investment banking at BMO Nesbitt Burns and project financing at UBS. Mr. Brink holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Witwatersrand and a Master’s degree in Management Studies from Oxford University.
Don Durrett received an MBA from California State University Bakersfield in 1990. He has worked in IT related positions for 20+ years. Paul Ferneyhough was appointed Executive Vice President, Strategy and Chief Financial Officer in September 2026. Since joining the Company in May 2021, Mr. Ferneyhough has held a series of senior leadership roles, including Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President, Chief Strategy and Commercial Officer, Senior Vice President, Chief Strategy & Commercial Officer, and Senior Vice President, Chief Growth & Integration Officer.
Before joining Eldorado, Mr. Ferneyhough spent nearly two decades with Repsol SA (and Talisman Energy), most recently as Executive Director, leading Repsol’s North American upstream oil and gas division. He also held progressively senior leadership roles in corporate, line and functional areas including finance, investor relations, strategy, commercial, planning, and business performance management. Mr. Ferneyhough is a Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) and has a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in physics from Durham University, United Kingdom.
Phillip Mackey grew up and studied in Australia but made his metallurgical mark in Canada. He was a major force behind the development of two new processes used in smelters today to treat copper concentrates and recycled materials. He earned his BSc (Hons) from the University of New South Wales in 1964 and completed his PhD at its School of Metallurgy in 1969. He then moved to Montreal to join the Noranda Research Centre. He played a major role in commercializing the Noranda Reactor Process, first implemented at the Horne smelter in Quebec in 1973 and then used elsewhere in the world. He later co-invented the Noranda Converting Process to improve the environmental performance of copper converters. The reactor process went on to treat so far an estimated 80 million tonnes of copper concentrate globally, while the converting process has produced more than five million tonnes of metallic copper since 2000. A Fellow of both CIM (Canada) and TMS (USA), Mackey received the Selwyn G. Blaylock Medal of CIM in 2010, The COM Silver Medal in 2006, and in 2012, he won the Airey Award, the most prestigious award for a metallurgist in Canada. Mackey is a co-founder of the Copper-Cobre conferences, which expanded from a joint Canadian-Chilean enterprise to embrace the entire global copper industry. Mackey is on the Board of Hazen Research of Denver, USA. The Phillip Mackey Symposium was held in his honour at the 2019 Copper Conference in Vancouver. He presented the TMS Extractive & Processing Division Distinguished Lecture in 2020 and received the John Elliott Lectureship Award of the Association for Iron and Steel Technology for 2021-2022. He was a Distinguished Lecturer for CIM in 2022-2023. He was inducted into the Canadian Mining Hall of Fame in 2022 for his work on copper and nickel.
He formed his own consulting company after leaving Xstrata and this has led to a wide range of projects worldwide, including work on the development of new nickel projects and nickel-copper projects. He sees Canada entering a new era for investment and development in mining and metallurgical projects; using his wide store of knowledge in mining and metallurgy, Mackey is helping to grow new projects in Canada.
John McCluskey is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Alamos Gold Inc. and has held this position since 2003, when he co-founded the Company with mining hall of famer Chester Millar. He is also a Director of the World Gold Council. In 2023, Mr. McCluskey received the Viola R. MacMillan Award, given by the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada for showing leadership and a willingness to take risks in the acquisition and development of the Island Gold mine in Northern Ontario. In 2018, he received the Murray Pezim Award for Perseverance and Success in Financing Mineral Exploration by the British Columbia Association for Mineral Exploration, in recognition of his role in the acquisition, financing, and encouragement of successive discoveries at Mulatos, as well as his ongoing success as CEO of Alamos. Mr. McCluskey was also named Ontario’s 2012 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of The Year, based on a judging panel’s assessment of financial performance, vision, leadership, innovation, personal integrity and influence, social responsibility, and entrepreneurial spirit.
Rob is the Chairman and Chief Owner of McEwen Mining, which has three producing mines in Nevada, Ontario, and Argentina and holds 48% interest in the large Los Azules copper project in Argentina. Rob has been associated with the gold industry all his career, his first 18 years in the investment industry and since 1990 as CEO of several gold mining companies.
Rob is the founder of Goldcorp, where he took the company from a market capitalization of $50 million to over $8 billion. With a cost of investment in McEwen Mining (NYSE, TSX: MUX) and McEwen Copper of US$225 million, he owns 16.1% of MUX, 13.2% of McEwen Copper and takes a salary of $1/ year.

Andrew Snowden was appointed as President and CEO of Torex in June 2026, having previously served as CFO since January 2021. He is a senior mining executive with 25 years of international corporate experience. Before joining Torex, Mr. Snowden served as Senior Vice President and CFO at Sherritt International Corporation, a multinational mining company with its primary operations in North America, Africa and the Caribbean. There he provided leadership in all areas of business and financial management including strategic planning, performance measurement, debt and equity financing and corporate development.
Prior to joining Sherritt in 2012, Mr. Snowden gained 12 years of experience at Ernst & Young in the UK, Australia, and Canada. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Durham in England. Mr. Snowden is also a Certified Director from the ICD-Rotman Directors Education Program and serves as a Director of Torex.
I have worked in the asset manager business for more than 30 years. In 2019 I founded AuAg Funds, with the launch of our flag ship fund AuAg Silver Bullet. AuAg Funds is a true boutique asset manager, now with four funds, all within the mining & metals sector.

Jessie Liu-Ernsting is Chief Corporate Development Officer at FireFly Metals (ASX, TSX: FFM), leading strategy, corporate development, and investor relations. A professional engineer with 20 years’ experience across engineering, finance, and capital markets, she has held senior roles spanning technical, financial, and strategic capacities in the global mining industry. Previously, Jessie was VP Investor Relations at G Mining Ventures, where she was a part of the team that grew the company from a $200M developer into a C$4.7B producer, establishing its inaugural IR program, securing US$481M in project financing, and supporting its C$875M merger with Reunion Gold. He previously occupied multiple metallurgy and operation roles at Newmont where he led underground operations at the Éléonore Mine.
Keith was appointed Chief Executive Officer of New Found Gold in January 2025, bringing with him 40 years of experience in the mining industry, including the last 19 years as a C-Suite executive within precious and base metals companies. His work has encompassed both open-pit and underground mines across North America and internationally, with assignments across Australia and Africa. Previously, Mr. Boyle served as Chief Operating Officer at Reunion Gold Corporation, where he fast-tracked the development of the high-grade gold Oko West Project in Guyana, leading to its acquisition by G Mining Ventures Corporation for $870 million. Throughout his career, Keith has demonstrated expertise in project development, technical studies, stakeholder relations, operational optimization, cost control, and budget management to drive and improve financial performance. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering and an MBA from the University of Alberta. Mr. Boyle is also a member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario and the Professional Engineers & Geoscientists of Newfoundland & Labrador.
Mr. Foulkes has over 25 years of experience as both a successful explorer and manager of corporate development and investor relations programs for Canadian and US public companies. During this time he has helped raise over $150M for mineral exploration and development projects around the world.
Mr. Foulkes’ former corporate activities included managing the corporate development and investor relations programs of Candente Copper, Platinum Group Metals, and MAG Silver. He also served as the Manager of Corporate Development, and was actively involved in the investor relations programs for West Timmins Mining prior to their 2009 acquisition by Lakeshore Gold.
Before his corporate roles, Mr. Foulkes had a notable seven year career in mineral exploration, including leading the teams that discovered the Jericho and Gahcho Kué diamond mines in the Canadian Arctic. He holds Bachelor degrees in Geology and Education from the University of British Columbia.
Spencer Cole is a mining executive and engineer with more than 25 years’ experience across the global resources sector, spanning project development, operational leadership, finance and corporate transactions. Most recently, he served as Chief Development Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Xanadu Mines Ltd (ASX: XAM), playing a key role in advancing the Kharmagtai copper-gold project in Mongolia prior to its acquisition by Boroo Mining in 2025.
Dr Mike Jones is the founding Managing Director of Impact Minerals Limited, which was listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in November 2006. Reporting to the Board of Directors, he is responsible for the company's performance as it moves towards production at its Lake Hope High Purity Alumina Project and also for implementing strategies to explore and maximise the value of the Company’s other extensive tenement holdings. Since listing, Mike has helped raise over $60 million to help fund the exploration of Impact’s projects and managed the company through significant adverse events. Recently he identified and negotiated the staged acquisition of an 80% interest in a globally unique High Purity Alumina (HPA) deposit in the Tier One jurisdiction of Western Australia. The deposit is world-class in several aspects, and the deal has put Impact firmly on the road to production over the next few years. This project is Impact’s focus going forward.
Michael Loken is a professional engineer with over 23 years of experience in private industry and public service and has been the Director of Strategic Services for the Ontario Ministry of Energy and Mines since 2024. In this role, he is responsible for several critical policies and programs including Ontario’s Critical Minerals Strategy, the Critical Minerals Processing Fund (CMPF), Critical Minerals Innovation Fund (CMIF), the Ontario Junior Exploration Program (OJEP), and the Indigenous Participation Fund (IPF). Prior to joining the Ontario Public Service, Michael held senior leadership roles at the City of Greater Sudbury, and worked at Falconbridge Limited, Xstrata Nickel, and Glencore Canada as a Senior Metallurgical Engineer and Smelter Emergency Response Team Leader.
Michael holds an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Ottawa and a master's degree in Natural Resources Engineering from Laurentian University.
As President of The Northern Miner Group, Anthony has overall responsibility for some of the mining industry’s most distinguished media brands including: The Northern Miner, Canadian Mining Journal and MINING.com. Anthony holds the CFA designation, has an MBA in Investment Management and serves on the board of The Canadian Mining Hall of Fame.
Colin McClelland is Editor-in-Chief of The Northern Miner after starting there in 2022. He’s covered the Angolan civil war for Reuters; African oil, mining, hedge funds, private equity and banks for Bloomberg News; and run Associated Press coverage in Canada. Along the way there have been stints at the CBC and The Financial Post. He’s from Toronto.
