Change is the new Normal

Don’t be left behind

Miners are in the unique position of striving to go “green” and exceed ESG standards while providing the resources for the rest of the world to reach net-zero. The pace of change in how we mine has been exponential but much more is still needed. Building on the success of our first Reimagine Mining symposium, this event will connect delegates with industry leaders on the forefront of these changes. Topics to be discussed include: ESG, Water Management, Automation, De-carbonization, Digitization, and the role of New Technologies. Interact with experts tackling mining’s big challenges and specialists who can shed light on how to implement these solutions.

Monique has built two multimillion-dollar cleantech companies focussed on semi-passive mine water treatment (Contango Strategies, sold in 2018, and now Maven Water & Environment). Dr. Simair has been named as Canada’s 2021 Eco Impact Awardee by Eco Canada. She has also been named by Profit Magazine as one of Canada’s future entrepreneurial leaders, to Chatelaine’s W100 women entrepreneurs, the University of Saskatchewan Alumni of Influence, and multiple awards for technology innovation and leadership. She was also the youngest person appointed as an advisor to Canada’s Science, Technology, and Innovation Council, advising Canada’s Minister of Industry.
